About The Movie
As you wish ... is close to my heart since it explores love in a different way. This movie is 'A poignant reminder that this is a time that will come eventually for all of us; make the most of your life until then!'.
Music has a great influence in one's mind and particularly flute has a soothing effect which in turn made me to create Bill as a flute musician. I also wanted music as the bridge between the hearts of Bill and Grace. Above all, I wanted to ask a simple question "If your spouse is in a lot of pain, will you be able to do the 'unthinkable' purely out of love ?".
I started coordinating things atleast two months before the shoot date. I found Rick pisarro through Trigger street , a wonderful actor and a nice friend and Selena is a talented actress. Rick has worked in some major productions . Al (Dr.john) has good experience in short films. Mr.Srikanth did the music in his professional Studio1234.Sotiris,Cinematographer and editor has contributed a lot in this production. Christine and Michael were the make up artists who transformed the cast into a different era. David Ellis, took care of the transportation and is the assistant cameraman. Steve assisted in crane and doing grip work. Johnna gave some wonderful ideas for production designing. Jeff Beres (A trigger street member), has done the Script consulting. Sumitra Ramjee did the continuity direction and generously provided lunch for the crew.
The weather was too cold during the days of shooting in New jersey and it was a great learning experience. I have to thank Raj,Vidya and Karthik for providing their house for filming, John and Penney for horses and Joe,Phil and John balog for antique car.
Last but not least, I thank my wife and parents for the wonderful support in this great journey of film making. This movie is not possible without the motivation of Trigger Street and some of the wonderful TS reviewers who encouraged me in my previous films. |
