Films are not possible without producers! They not only dedicate time, energy but takes huge risks based on concept, script and director. I want to introduce the producers of ‘Achchamundu! Achchamundu!’ (Alphabetical order).
Ananth Govindan :- Ananth saw my short films and showed interest in working with me. He is an avid movie fan and has great deal of humor sense. His tremendous support to the film is a huge boost to AA!
Asma Hashmi :- Asma is a pleasant friend and also a well wisher. She doesn’t know tamil language but showed lot of support for kick starting the film. She is not only a producer, a good writer too!
Ramzan Lakhani :- We found each other and worked together in a short film of mine ’One Soul’ just to test out HD format and the team work. Very hardworking in nature and he ran around during production for putting together ‘AA’.
Srinivasan :- Srini is a good friend of mine and I know him for the past few years. He worked with Kamalhaasan in Heyram and Marudhanaaayagam. He wants to make different kind of films and is a great asset to our team.
Yours truly is also one of the producers in the film. I love all these people above. This journey is fun & possible because of all the above mentioned!

I am back in US.
These are the recent interesting things about AA.
Each and every film is made with lot of struggle, hard work and passion. I am glad some of those feelings came out nicely in this following interview. Shobha did a good job in condensing our one hour chat
http://specials.rediff.com/movies/2008/sep/22sli1.htmI
Indiaglitz, our official partner did a good job in documenting the BGM process.
We had lot of fun during the whole process. Sound engineers in Prasad studio - Segar and Prabhakar, Puru uncle (Fondly called by KR) who conducted the whole orchestra, Office staff Subbaiyya, Mari, Vijay …the whole set of people were very nice. Great memories! KR was prompt almost all the days for BGM and he was excited to do a film which stuck to the genre.

I got emails saying that visitors are not able to post comments in this blog. I got irritated by tons of viagara & other BS spams and in turn made few changes in the moderation. Anyway, now I reverted some of those changes and there won’t be any issues now onwards.
See ya all soon with more stuff!

Yes, Prasanna was injured in the sets day before yesterday. The whole inci(acci)dent is below. We were shooting the climax and there was a stunt where John shea has to punch Prasanna. We rehearsed everything and somehow the timing missed and the punch directly landed on Prasanna’s head. I was watching the whole thing in the monitor and realized immediately that the timing missed. Prasanna fell on the floor and I yelled ‘CUT’ immediately. Stunt coordinator Ian Mclaughlin and the doubles went near the spot with first aid kit and ice pack. Prasanna was totally shaken up and it was really a hard blow. Things came back to normal in 30 mins and Prasanna, like a real hero came back to the spot and finished the stunt.
In the mean time, I saw some reports in the media and even got fewer calls from my friends about the same. There is no rod involved and there are no stitches
Prasanna is fine now and he is a good sport!
This real ACCIDENT should be in Special Edition DVD
Have a good weekend!
Follow up :- Just now director Myskin called me to enquire abt the incident
News spread so fast and I told him ‘Nothing to worry!’
