Prasanna and Injury - The truth
Yes, Prasanna was injured in the sets day before yesterday. The whole inci(acci)dent is below. We were shooting the climax and there was a stunt where John shea has to punch Prasanna. We rehearsed everything and somehow the timing missed and the punch directly landed on Prasanna’s head. I was watching the whole thing in the monitor and realized immediately that the timing missed. Prasanna fell on the floor and I yelled ‘CUT’ immediately. Stunt coordinator Ian Mclaughlin and the doubles went near the spot with first aid kit and ice pack. Prasanna was totally shaken up and it was really a hard blow. Things came back to normal in 30 mins and Prasanna, like a real hero came back to the spot and finished the stunt.
In the mean time, I saw some reports in the media and even got fewer calls from my friends about the same. There is no rod involved and there are no stitches 
Prasanna is fine now and he is a good sport!

Follow up :- Just now director Myskin called me to enquire abt the incident News spread so fast and I told him ‘Nothing to worry!’

Great to know prasanna is not injured as reported in other sites.

Thanx for clearing the doubts about prasanna
Since it was a climax scene you were shooting i guess most part of the shooting in USA is over (or is there any scenes left?)
so when can we expect the AA in big screen?
