Sorry for the interruption!

The blog is hacked for the past few days and I am not able to communicate with you pals. The release date is pushed for 17th due to some reasons. Its all for good!We are releasing 8 prints in US and this is a good thing for us. We will be finalizing few other things soon.

Telugu dubbing is also almost over and the mixing is still pending. Dheepa Venkat and Shashank has done the dub for both the lead actors. Believe me…they have done an awesome job! Vannila Kanti is the one who wrote the lyrics and Telug dialogues for the same.

Houseful screening @ Shanghai!

I was surprised! Can you believe that the screening is sold out at Shanghai? I haven’t seen such a crowd enjoying a film and the Q&A session was great too since people were curious to know more about the film. Its 350 seat big theater and the audience poured in. We didn’t have a single poster to promote the film and A BIG THANKS to Shanghai people. Met Danny Boyle today and shared few words. Only tamil film in the entire festival and there is another film called ‘Machan’. Although the name sounds ‘Tamil’, its a paris film directed by a french director. The festival is big and there is a royal treatment to the filmmakers. Awesome is the word – More details to follow!

Shanghai Screening!

Shanghai festival is screening Achchamundu five times and today the first screening would have been over as I am typing this message. I am leaving to Shanghai on 16th night and will be there from 17th onwards. There will be Q & A sessions and Achchamundu will be played with English and Chinese subtitles. The Censor work is almost done and will keep you posted with more info soon.

Sema hot machi!

We had a radio show in Mirchi which will be on air soon. Myself, Prasanna, Sneha and Karthik Raja were there to discuss about Achchamundu! After a long time, we all had fun discussing about the film. Mirchi Shiva (actor in Chennai-28 and Saroja), Aadhavan (Anchor in Adithya channel), Sujatha and crew members were there.  Check mirchi – Sema hot machi! We will be on air @ Radiocity also soon – Chennaiyoda best station (These are all the taglines )

          Yesterday, actor Naaser sir called me. He has seen AA already and this is what the conversation all about. “Arun, I am still talking about your film to all my friends and family. This is one film which should reach audience so that our films get better and better. We should catch up sometime!’. I love Naaser’s acting in Devar magan and Kurudhipunal. His comments are a morale boost for me.

P.S:- Some of the visitors has emailed me ‘Whether the movie is releasing on June 19th as reported in certain sections of media’. I will let you know as soon as the exact date is fixed. It will be soon announced. Once you see trailers hitting theatres and TV’s, that’s when the date is fixed and we are going to go for it!

Corporate shows

Pals, I am sorry that I have become very irregular because of the continuous work. Most of the times, I am running around putting together the things for the film release. Anyway, we are planning to allocate some corporate shows under fun@corporate! If any work for a corporate which is interested in fun activities like this or if you can recommend somebody, please feel free to contact me.

‘AA’ goes to Shanghai !

I am very delighted to share this news with my blog visitors. ‘Achchamundu! Achchamundu!’ has been selected for 12th annual Shanghai international film festival where Slumdog millionaire director Danny Boyle is going to chair the Jury. This is Asia’s top most film festivals with 300,000 audience visiting the festival every year!  I am in India as of now and we are gearing up for Audio launch and release of our film.
